Ryan

I was attended "Shoot Like a Pro" workshop last few week ago, but I found that I don't have much time practise with the model. So, I go search for a volunteer model for me to practise what I had learned. Very much thanks to Ryan, who willing to be my first model. He is hair stylist and have no experience in model, which is the exact person I want .

First place we go is Protestant Cemetry. It's cloudy day, great weather but a lot mosquito here. Here are shots we make.

We spend about 2 hours at the cemetry. Then, we move to "Ghost School" in Penang, the Shih Chong Branch School.

I practise a lot of things through the shooting session. The lighting, posing, communicating and exposure. Thanks to Ryan very much. I had enjoyed a great photography session with him. Nice to meet him. And, we will try again next time with special theme.

PIDBF 2009, 檳城國際龍舟節

檳城國際龍舟節（ PIDBF ）是檳城的年度主要活動之一。這項活動每年舉行，今年是在23與24日在直落巴巷水壩举行。
我很早起床，驾着我的小車前往直落巴巷水壩，全程花了45分鐘，才抵达目的地。

Penang International Dragon Boat Festival (PIDBF) is one of Penang state signature event. This event will be held every year, and this year was on 23&24 May at Teluk Bahang Dam.
I woke up early in the morning, heading to Teluk Bahang Dam with my little car. It took me 45 minutes to reach there.

我錯過所有國際隊的比賽，因为我只出席了第一天的比赛。明年（2010年6月26及27日），我會再回來。希望可以带着 400mm 长鏡頭。上述所有作品都是用我的Sigma 150mm f2.8 MACRO 拍摄。150mm 焦距实在太短了。

I had miss all the International team racing as I attended the first day only. It's ok, I will come back next year (26 and 27 June 2010). And, hopefully, with a 400mm lens. All above shots took with my Sigma 150mm f2.8 MACRO. 150mm is too short for this event.

五月初五端午节，祝大家端午节快乐！
Happy Dumpling Festival to everyone.

里面有半颗蛋黄、小小片香菇、小小颗栗子和小小块猪肉

身为游子，在外吃贵粽子。端午节（Peak season），粽子小小粒，料少得可怜，却要三块钱！！！
好想念小时候妈妈裹的粽子，大大粒好好吃！想念一起堆材烧粽子的乐趣。

长大了，只剩下回忆 。。。
